After the success of our initial scholarship pilot scheme, we are thrilled to announce that we have now opened a new part-scholarship scheme for our summer production of Rock of Ages (Youth Edition). Unlike the full scholarship which is only available to students aged 11+ and limited to five spaces, the part funded scholarship is open to students of all ages. Our principal, Nat, says “I am thrilled that we have been receiving so many applications. It is a cause which is close to my heart, as my parents faced financial hardship when I was growing up, and we couldn’t always afford extra-curricular activities. I am aware of the positive difference the arts can make in children’s lives and I wanted to do more to help local families gain access to arts education.”
The new scheme will allow families who are in receipt of universal credit (or equivalent benefit) to apply for a 50% reduction in fees, and will have the option to pay in instalments. For more information and eligibility requirements, visit our scholarships page.
